Thanks to their selfless sacrifice’s, at the stroke of the midnight hour on 14th August 1947, when the world was sleeping, India has awakened to life and freedom(1). This is the day to remember who gave their lives for our rights, freedom, prosperity and unity we enjoy today. May God Bless Their Souls. As our forefathers anticipated, this is also the day to refocus on building a noble mansion of free India where all her children may dwell(1).
