I am going to A R Rahman Concert

Everyone has got a list of the things they wanted to do atleast once in their life time. One of the things I wanted to do is see AR Rahman performing live. Lucikly I got the tickets for this saturday(24th July 2010) to see him at o2 arena, London(Jai ho world tour)..I am so happy – will post the pictures soon…Am on the moon right now.

India Week at Clare Hall

India will be the focus of the latest country-themed week of events at Clare Hall next week. The enterprising international graduate college will be hosting lectures, dance, drama, music an exhibition and a cookery demonstration in India Week between 6 and 12 June.
Free admission to all events, except for the formal dinner.

Moved to Cambridge-Missing Edinburgh

After being in Edinburgh for 7.5years, finally I moved to Cambridge on May 15th to work for sanger. It’s like starting everything from scratch: new place, new friends. First thoughts are mixed. Finding a suitable accommodation is a nightmare here, but I quickly understood that I should not except to be same as in Edinburgh. It’s expensive, but the quality of living is much lower than Edinburgh. The good thing is weather, work place and colleagues. I hope this place will be much more comforting and friendly during my stay.

Solution for the error:
The following message may help in diagnosing the problem: The Active Directory membership provider has not been configured to support search methods.

This error usually displayed when Active directory is choosen to get ASP.net based website members
Just add : enableSearchMethods=”true” in the web.config file as detailed below
